Suzanne Davis-Hall
Manager – Environmental & Regulatory
Calgary, Alberta

Suzanne has 20 years of experience in the resources and infrastructure sectors, with the last 10 years being in senior corporate and government Environment, Community and Sustainability roles. Suzanne has managed many Environment and Social Impact Assessments of multi-disciplinary projects in socially and environmentally complex settings. She has also been involved in numerous due diligence assessments and company merger and acquisition activities internationally.

She has strong project management skills in project permitting, planning for closure, acid and metalliferous drainage assessments, development of Environmental Management Plans and other environmental projects. She is an accredited Environmental Auditor and has undertaken numerous third party and internal audits of standards, licence conditions, management plans, and capex/opex reviews.

Suzanne has also developed HSEC management systems and implemented them across operations in Australia and developing countries. She has also developed corporate strategies for biodiversity offsets, development of closure criteria and engaging with communities.

Suzanne is also experienced in developing Sustainable Development strategies for resources companies and has managed and prepared numerous Sustainable Development Reports using the Global Reporting Initiative Reporting Guidelines.


Alex Riley
Senior Environmental Consultant
Vancouver, British Columbia

Alex is an environmental professional with over 17 years of experience in mine permitting, environmental impact assessment, mine closure planning and community consultation throughout South America, Canada and Southeast Asia.

Alex is rejoining Klohn after three years working as the Manager of Health, Safety, Environment and Community for Guyana Goldfields. He completed environmental audits, environmental baseline studies, an environmental impact assessment and a mine closure plan to meet the IFC Performance Standards and support project financing for Guyana Goldfields’ Aurora Project.

Prior to working in Guyana, Alex was the Environmental Manager of KCB’s Lima Office and worked for both KCB and the Louis Berger Group for seven years. He conducted environmental impact assessments and mine closure plans for Antamina, Skye Resources, and Doe Run Peru. He managed community consultation programs with artisanal and small scale miners in Guyana and indigenous communities in Guatemala and the Philippines.
